In a campaign speech today VP Dick Chenney warned that the wrong choice for president could lead to future terrorist attacks.

This was met immediatly with an outraged response from John Edwards.

It poses the question: was Chenney's comments suggesting that a democratic administration would be easier to attack...Or was he just playing the fear card?

Fear is the predominant issue the republicans are running on this year.

They used fear to go to Iraq.

They use fear to pass "Big Brother" type laws.

This administration is using fear to create a submissive society.

Here is one for you, At the republican national convention, the administration did not touch up on how it is going to to pull us out of the economic disaster they have bestowed up on us. Instead they focused solely upon TERROR/FEAR, and WAR.

Yup..Cheneys speech was liberally(?) peppered with fear.
The insinuation that some how this nation would only be safe under a REPUBLICAN administration is preposterous, especially since Mr.Kerry espouses views on the war very similar to Mr.Bush
(The Mr. titles do not infer a tone of respect, they both suck)

Funny that Cheney..a guy that did his BEST to avoid ANY military service whatsoever during a major war...and Bush..a guy that put in the mimimum requirement to be able to say that he served honorably...

Funny that they should say that THEIR party is the only one truly based on safety for the citzens of this country.

THEIR party ...very similar to the democratic party is owned and run by big business. THEIR party....gives tax cuts to the welathy. And their party is stripping this country of its civil rights.

Heck...the dems can do that cant they?
