What Type of Tortoise is this

Hi
I took a pic of this tortoise at a nature center near by where I live to me he looks like a CDT (California Desert Tortoise) I am correct my dad see him all the time because he delivers mail there. Any information would be apprecaited Thanks Dianne

That particular tortoise looks like a male Bolsons tortoise, Gopherus flavomarginatus, to me.

I've never seen a desert tortoise with a single gular like that and also with that much yellow coloration that would be my guess.

It is also very unusual to see one like that in a nature center. Are you located anywhere in Texas?

I live in Southern California in A city called Whittier , He is at the Whittier Narrows Nature Center my dad think he is ugly but I think he is a great looking tort I have a few more pic I can send them to you privately if you would like Thanks DIanne

Looks like it could be a light-phased gohper tortoise (Gopherus polyphemus) to me, but it's hard to be sure from that picture. They are native to the south eastern US including Florida.
