Is the leopard a good beginner gecko? (more)

tim5580 Sep 07, 2004 06:34 PM

I am thinking about getting a leopard gecko. I think they are cool looking and would be an intresting animal to care for. What I'm wondering is are they a good beginner gecko? I heard they are pretty hardy, easy to care for, readily eat crickets, mealworms, ect., and don't mind being handled (within reason). Plus their price isn't bad.
Thanks
