temporary cages

can anyone think of a way ic an set up a temporary cge for my iguana? i am in teh process of moving rooms and building a cage for him.. but i am not in my old room very much.. so he doesnt see me very much anymore..

Now my new room has bunkbeds in it for right now.. can anyone think of a way that i could make a temporary cage on the top of it for the time being?

It depends on what you have available for tools. Personally, I am the biggest fan of L-brackets... nice strong corners, they line up well, and I can take them apart when done. I would use pre-cut stuff from a lumber store, 1"x2"s, flat panels that are fairly cheap, and L-brackets, that sort of thing. Tempest's original cage cost me maybe $100 to put together, and the biggest part of that cost was the piece of plexiglass for the door. The rest was all that thick cardboard-wood stuff that goes on the back of shelving units, 1"x2"s, L-brackets and screws, and some plastic hardware mesh. It took the better part of a day to knock together and all I had was a dying drill and a hand saw.
