About 5 months ago, me and my mother got a rescue Ball python from another mother whos child hadn't fed it at all, I'm don't work with our snakes mainly I just feed them. Forward 5 months, the snake had doubled it's size and was doing well, I'm part of the SWHS in Cali and our President of the chapter was visiting our home and looking around, he had confused the ball for a retic and noted it had a peculiar pattern when I said it was a ball. This got me wondering about what it was, after looking on the net and examining the snake I came to the idea it can't be a ball, nor a Retic, children's, carpet, etc.. We already own a 10' Male Burm who's rather dark so I haven't seen the pattern all that well, after being out of Ideas I decided to check pics of Burms on the net.. and wouldn't you know it.. the Ball turned out to be a second Burmese! Oh boy..

Sorry for the back story, I just thought it was funny that even owning a sub adult burm.. I didn't even think that the smaller snake could be the same species.
anyways, here's the questions.
the snake is currently 3 1/2' feeding normally about every 1-2 weeks small to medium rats how long will it take to reach adult size? We weren't expecting a second burm and we need to know how long till we need a cage to suit a full grown burm. What size enclosure should it be in at 5'? It's in a 36" X 18" enclosure currently
