im usually over on the chameleon forums but i got question. my friend and i are going to start breeding reptiles. im doing chameleons and hes doing leos. splitting all costs down the middle. we bought a patternless leo and hes got what looks like carrot tail to me. im no expert on leos but ive only seen it a few times on the internet before. is this common? uncommon? vaulable lol? thanks.

A lot of patternless leos have some orange or yellow on their tails. On most it's only about 10% or less (at least on the one's I've seen). If it's a true carrot tail (similar to those on hypo tangs with CT) then it can be worth more than a normal patternless because they aren't as common. Post a pic and we can probably tell you for sure. I hope this helps though.

ya its probally around 10% right now, but she is still a juvie and the orange is still creeping down the tail. i doubt it would reach far enough to reach what i have seen on the internet as carrot tail, but is still looks rather nice. i dont know if i can post a pic but i might. im sure ill be in touch with you all once we start the breeding process (1-3 months). thanks.
