Nothing like some boas after a fresh shed...(Dial-up Warning!)...

wetceal Sep 07, 2004 11:23 PM

It seems like everyone sheds at around the same time which is perfectly fine with me! Then I can take photos of everyone at the same time! I just wanted to share some pictures of a few littles ones that are growing like weeds.

This is my female (possible) Coral Albino Boa that I got from Tom and Amanda Burke at the Daytona, Florida Expo. This girl has been doing absolutely fantastic for us ever since we brought her home. She eats like a champ and just went through her first shed since we've had her. I think these guys are probably one of the hardest animals to photograph - color-wise. It's quite difficult to capture the subtle orange and pink all over this girl's sides and on her head. Hopefully she will gain more and more coloration as she grows so this won't be a big deal

Here are a couple of pictures of one our our Holdback Hypo Boas from this year. He was in his "dark phase" today. His sides are really that orange too!

Thanks for looking,

Celia

It's no surprise that these two girls are sisters! These are a couple of awesome Staub-line hypos. I really love the tails on these two and how reduced their patterns are...

I love all those babies, but that Coral Albino is amazing. The coloring is like orange sherbert!!
