"Normal" 2004 Jaguar Sibling

AnthonyCaponetto Sep 07, 2004 11:31 PM

This girl is a 2004 "normal" Jaguar sibling that Will sent me a couple months back. She's from his red hypo Jaguar male and his banded female.

She just shed about a week ago, so I figured I'd snap a few pics of her.

That is one sweet snake. How does the price of siblings compare to that of a jaguar?

Thanks, Mark. She's not super flashy, but I really like her. Yet another perk of working with Jags...even the "normals" they produce are neat.

The prices are a lot lower. Now that I think about it, I guess they're about 10% of that of a Jaguar. Normal siblings can range from $300-600 or so, whereas Jags go for $3,000 all the way up into the $10K range.

Thanks again for the kind words.

she is absolutely gorgeous, i have been doing a lot of research on carpet pythons lately, I think I may look into getting a Jungle Carpet as my first. what do you suggest?

Thanks. I tend to like Irian Jaya (aka Papuan) Carpets better than Jungles because of their interesting colors and because they're smaller than Jungles, but either one would be a great first Carpet.

Do you ever have anything for sale? I was looking at your Brisbane carpets and they are gorgeous. I would love to get one from you when you have neonates available.

Carpets only breed once a year and I'm sold out for this year. As stated on my website, nothing is expecting until next spring/summer.

The "Brisbane" female will be bred to a Jaguar or a Tiger, so I probably won't have any Brisbanes available.

Thanks,
Anthony
