Looking for some nice racks - adult boas. ANy new ones unveiled at Daytona?

Diego Sep 08, 2004 08:31 AM

I have not really looked into rack systems at all for adult boas, mainly becuase most of the LARGER rack systems cost an arm and a leg.

I looked at the freedom breeder racks and they seem pretty nice for large boas.. they have nice sizes to choose from, but am not too fond of the "open air" system they have.

What racks do yall use for your adults. What size tubs are they kept in

I have tried to get this model made of plastic, but I have not had a lot of luck getting it made due to the length of the shelf. In plastic it will bend they say, no matter how thick the plastic.

So.. we made another unit identical to this one, but this time we covered the inside with FRP - that is a thin plastic layer we glued down so there is no exposed raw wood. So far they are working great and half price of plastic units. Best of all, it is OUR design and has all of the elements we wanted.
