I was just wondering I have some big girls that eat alot I usually get them 1 large frozen rat a week but I was thinking they just might be able to eat bigger.
Durning breeding season last year one of my females was eating anything I gave her I can't remember but I think she ate 3 large in a sitting of it might have been 2 large and a medium.
I have never seen a jumbo so I am not sure. What is the largest food most of you feed the big kids?
well i'm not to sure if it was a jumbo rat i fed my biggest girl. but it sure is pushing jumbo. let me put it this way: she was weighing about 2400 grams and after eating her meal she was pushing 3000 grams. and boy does she love her large rats...lol

they are slow digesters......no need to.....I grow mine and keep them on mice even.....gerbils,mice,rat hoppers,deer mice,hamsters,chinese and russian hamsters....
nothing big actually.......
they do fine and lay up to 12 eggs......
......I think 3 large is really stretching it..........
........hell.....3 large rats would feed a 9 foot burmese/////............and or a skinny 11 foot retic.......
anyways......my 2 cents..........
