Hey there! About a month ago I moved from my old place (to just down the street), and I was cleaning out my storage closet and found 3 mediterranean gecko eggs. I didn't want to leave them to get crushed, so I took them to my new place, and put them in my new storage closet. One of the eggs is very dark now, and is really close to hatching; the other two eggs are younger, and are extremely far away from hatching. I live in Dallas, and we are having an extremely unseasonably cool summer (thank god!lol) Now the temps are getting into the lower 50's at night, but the 80's during the day, so I have been bringing the eggs inside at night so they don't die, although I know NOTHING about what temp will hurt them as far a cold weather.
I read about incubating the eggs, but I've had these eggs for a month in a closet outside laying on a paper towel, and have done nothing to them at all, and they are growing like crazy. Could it be the weather outside that makes incubation uneccessary? If I keep them inside do I need to do something different with them? Anything will help, thanks!
