I got bit the other day

I kinda volunteer time at the local pet store and play with the herps and try and give advice when the owner will listen. I can't work their because I am in college and in marching band so no time. So the owner orders 2 green anacondas the other day. Yea I think its stupid for a pet store like this one to carry such a "demanding" snake. By demanding I mean growing to huge lengths and stuff. She was like well they said they could be nice and stuff and I said when they get here send them back. I know yall own them and love them but come on, at a local pet store where folks will just buy it because its cool looking. Well I knew that it would bite the hell out of me when I took it out of the bag. I figured if I got bit and started to bleed then she would send them back. So I let one crawl out and onto my hands and arm. And as I suspected, bit the hell out of my hand. It was only about a foot and a half or 2 feet so it didnt hurt. But it did draw blood and that is what I wanted. So when it bit me I put it back in the bag and she sent them back. So what do yall think about that? I think I did the right thing, because with the movie anacondas comeing out, yea morons would have bought these snakes. These are snakes, to me, that should only be bought from a reputable breeder. But it was my first snake bite. There is a burm there that if I reach in with out my snake hook, it will bite. It is little and probably wont hurt but I just want to try and keep from getting bit for as long as I can. Unfortunetly that anaconda changed my plan. lol

I dont know..I dont like snakes being sent all over the place. where was it from? Anyway, it was dumb to buy a green for a pet store. first bite huh lol you got more coming. Greens can be fine but they are no much worse than burms and retics that are all in pet stores. at least the greens are a little more hard to kill and can go longer without food so the person buying can more time to learn.
