albinos go blind? pacman eat poop?

ivantheman Sep 08, 2004 09:24 PM

I know many albino animals(inlcuding people) eventually go blind due to lack of pigment in their eyes. Now this is fine for a snake as it senses vibration and "smells" with its tounge, but how will my albino pacman find his prey? Should i not have a light?

also, iv'e been feeding him mainly (bait)worms this week, is that a bad idea? Im gonna get crickets the next time i work, but i dont have time to during the week what with school.

Lastly, i think my pacman ate his poop twice. I wasnt sure how many worms would be healthy, so i erred on the side of caution, but i think i just made him hungry. so he ate his poop, i guess. i have potting soil, so it could of disovled, or something. anywho, is it a big deal if he ate poop? he's fine and still eating.

I have an adult albino, and I do not think she has lost any eyesight since her youth. She snaps at the nightcrawlers as soon as I put them near her. I do know that albinos are more sensitive to light than regulars though, so a light might actually be a bad idea.
Your frog's crap might have just dissipated into the substrate. Why did you leave it in there though? I always remove any that I see right away. Your frog would not eat it, because they only eat things that move.
