Hubby found this beauty this morning on the window at Starbucks this morning. I'm guessing it's a Cuban but I haven't found one with these colors. It's about 2 1/2 inches SV and quite the character.
I'm in Tampa FL.

here's another picture

That is absolutely awesome. I have not seen a Cuban with that type of markings. The green is so bright on its back. I would say it is a male but its hard to say yet. Males only reach the lengths of about 3 1/2 and females about 5 inches. So you atleast know he/she is a youngster still, lol, I wish I lived wher I could catch them. I can only buy them from the net or from petsmart =(
I have two myself a baby male I beleive and an adult female. But neither has those awesome markings on there back.
thanks for sharing the pics

Thanks Doofy (I'm also Ellasmommie here and over on TheFrog)
That is the problem that I am having IDing this lil bugger. NOONE has seen this color pattern!!! I don't know if we have found a hybrid of some sort or what. I Emailed the pictures to one of the sites that do the amphibian list for Florida. Hopefully they will have some answers for me.
I'm kinda hoping it is a male because I'd love to hear it calling!
