What Kind of Frog

59herps Sep 09, 2004 04:21 AM

Found this frog in a mountain spring alongside some california newts. They were litterally in the hundreds in about 6 pools each no larger than 7 feet in diameter and no more than 2 feet deep. There were also numerous tadpoles of various species. Its not a pacific tree frog and it could be a california tree frog, but it just seemed different in overall appearance and size than others I have seen, also the inside of the legs were reddish, but then again I know lizards, not frogs.
Thanks Devlin

All you had to do was do a search on "frogs of california", and I came up with this website...
