The stapling of his nose did not work (he did severe damage to his face due to breeding season behavior). He had plastic surgery on his face two weeks ago. He came home about two days later and has to wear a plastic elizabethen collar. They had that thing so tight on him that it looked painful. I loosened it up and put surgical gauze around it to keep it in place. That way he could put his dewlap out and breathe easily. He is still very orange but not aggressive anymore. I think he lost his confidence with the collar on. I also had to put him back in a tank because he can't climb (he can't see). Which also means he can't eat on his own. I have to hand feed him or syringe feed him. He hates the tank but I let him out every single day for hours so he can roam around. Yesterday I had him on the deck and he really enjoyed that.
Just wanted to give an update.
