Hi
I have been reading the Leopard Gecko Manual and ive read that leopard gecko live in burrows and rock crevices. I was wondering if I make a undergound burrow/tunnle system would they use it, is it a bad idea, will it help create a natural setting?

im sure they'd use it, it's just like another hide... i've thought about this, too, but i figure it can't be TOO elaborate, or you oculdn't keep track of our leos, and it might poo inside it, or if it happened to die in the tunnel system, (god forbid) you might have trouble getting it out.....
You could use pvc pipe for an underground tunnel system. They would use it and you would have to be able to keep tabs on your geckos to make sure they were eating and pooping. It may be tricky to clean and replace but it could be done.
what about hamster tubing? those pipes that come out of the top of their cage and loop around and stuff. i had it when i had a hamster as a kid and it came in all kinds of loops and Ts and intersections, so you could customize it really easy. they might be cheaper than pvc pipe but i'm not sure if it would be big enough or if it comes in a bigger size that would work for an adult, its been years since i looked at the stuff.
