hi, okay, Im gettin a new tank set up for use with either Long tail grass lizards or house gecko, and i wanted to know if bark chip substrate was ok to use, I mean, i've heard some stuff about crickets hiding in them, but i mean if it was packed down nice, or had soe moss mixed in to make it easier to pack down.... any problem with barck substrate?

The bark you buy at the store doesn't hold water at all- if you mist it it just sinks to the bottom and sort of stands there. Otherwise I don't see a big problem, those lizards are all too small to ingest the bark. But I like cypress mulch if you're going to go the bark route.
Also, long tailed grass lizards are cool.

Bark works just fine, I use it all the time for my tokays, plus it looks good and is really cheap. I use ZOO-MED repti-bark, it absorbes water well, keeping the humidy high.
