Hey, so far my tank for my 3 baby frogs have been kinda bare. I mean they had co-cobedding and a water bowl but I have some money and support from my parents to make it alot, actually a hell of alot better then before. I am also gonna get alot bigger tank for my frogs. Instead of before tho I am gonna add a background and a half water section that is realy really shallow with some small tetras in it and a waterfall. What I wanna know is if the silicone for my half section and the background toxic to frogs? Also, I am gonna use a foam called Great Stuff to hold up pieces of wood and other small weight rockes and stickes jutting out of the layer of foam on the side of the wall of the tank. Is this also toxic for frogs(the foam)?
I have had dreams and I can imagine how happy my frogs will be. After the foam dries I am gonna add dry co-co bedding to the still kinda wet silicone on top of the foam which will make it look fairly like a natural look to it. Cant n e of u imagine the scene? Wow I cant wait!! If u guys have n e suggestions or if n e thing I am doing is harmful to my frogs plz tell me so I wont make the tank and make some alterations. Thx for all the help guys! O and Faygo, Fanta, and Max thank you also. LoL o yea forgot.... has n e one noticed the name of my frogs? Besides Max the others have something in common.(4th frog I have ordered is gonna be named Pepsi or Coke)... LOL!! Max was named Max because when I was born my parents said they found a frog near the window of my little baby room in the hospital. And they swore they heard him croak "mackse" O and thru out my life I have had good luck finding frogs and saving some.

ok #1 great stuff is not toxic and #2 silicone is not toxic, but use 100% silicone. i use GE 100% silicone II(silicone I smells BAD. the great stuff will "cure" in a day but in about 2 to 4 days it will shrink away from where it cured. it shrinks about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch. it will pull away from the back of the tank and Make the wood loose. to fix this just wait a few days till it does this and fill in where the gaps are. i use the red can of G.S. and it takes about 1 to 1.5 cans to do a background for a ten gal tank. i am starting a business doing this and would offer to sell you one pre-made but try it yourself, its really gratifying. here is a pic of one i made and a link that will help a lot.
