I live in n.calif and raise rats and mice in the house as the weather is too hot in my garage. I like that vanilla hint, will have to try that. I have experimented with different food products including horse treats that are cubes and cinamon flavored. I have dried manzanita with drilled holes and stuff with peanut butter and mashed things to keep those teeth in check.
Hope to get more hints thast i can use, but as it is i have large litters in both rodents and i think a variety of veges and fruits do the trick.
