best temps and humidity for incubating western hoggie eggs?

riiotgrrl Sep 09, 2004 07:26 PM

I can feel Pricilla's eggies in her belly!! she looks like she may shed soon !!! i am making an incubator out of a styrofoam minnow bucket (insulated), a heat pad and a rheostat (best i can do for now....) it should be ok, seeing as i had to do this for leo eggs too before. I was wondering about the best temp to keep the eggs at...any thoughts are well appreciated.

80-85 degrees seem to be common. I have kept mine at 84 with 80% humidity, and they should be hatching in 7-10 days (52-55 days total). Hope that helps, and best of luck with your eggs!
