me wd has been digging holes all over its tank. what do u think it means.

Is it possible that it is a gravid female? Because that is what they do when they get ready to lay eggs. On the other hand, digging holes is a normal activity for water dragons if given the chance. However, if it just digs one hole then move on and digs another without spending anytime in the borrows it digs sounds more like gravid behaviour. ie, looking for an area with suitable moisture and temps, if it keeps moving it may not be finding an area its happy with.

So, do you think it could be gravid?
