After this one she had to re-arrange them in the nest to allow room for a few more!

Once they were all laid.. she "packed" them into the nest.. I could hear them "clinking and crunching" knowing she was going to break them.. she didn't.. the mother's touch!

After 2 1/2 - 3 hours of digging, laying and covering them up she ended up with these. Not sure if this is her 2nd or 3rd clutch this year.. her 1st year ever!

i can't get over how many she's laid... you really are going to have a lot of beautiful little redfoots! how long will it take for them to hatch out? i'm jealous!

Have been told by who I believe is a reliable source.. 150-180 day incubation cycle!

Some time next Feb./March.. we'll have babies!!!

Not sure who laid the first 5 (1 broke) 7/30.. 3 on 8/23.. Of course we know which one that laid 8 on 9/9. How many involved in the process.. 1,2 or 3?

How do they look in the incubator? I have a folded paper towel covering the eggs which I "spritz" each night to keep humidity up on egg surface.

Opinions.. comments.. blessings???
