Hello everyone, I am fairly new to this forum, but am very excited by the expertise that seems to be here!

I am trying to find/build new cages for my mali Uro and Egyptian Uro, both desert lizards. I have seen a lot of phenomenal cages made that use heavy styrofoam as a sculpture medium to create walls that look like stone and have hides, walkways, etc. Then they are coated with a thing layer of concrete and sealed with some sort of non-toxic varnich with sand or some other agent mixed into it. How safe is this sort of environment for the lizards? Uros require fairly hot temps with basking spots getting upwards to 115 degrees.

Any thoughts you guys have would be greatly appreciated.

Elizabeth
