cornsnake420 Sep 10, 2004 11:54 AM

im getting a new king snake today and i was wondering what the temps were in celcius? i have another king (cali king) and the one im getting is a striped cali king would the temps be the same for both? i dont have him yet just setting his tank up before i bring him home...

also kingsnakes are known for there agressive feeding response...the thing is my california kingsnake does not have it, he did when i fed him the odd live mouse but when i give him fresh killed or frozen he goes up to it and bites its butt for a while then eats it head first its weird...and my cornsnake has a really agressive feeding response..once shes in that bin shes ready to go lol...i was just wondering if it was because of his persoanllity? hes really really calm

Cal kings are Cal kings whether striped, banded or inbetween. You keep them the same.

Also, kings will often play with thawed food like that before eating it. Live usually elicits an immediate response.
