mystery snake?

sir-pent Sep 10, 2004 01:06 PM

I purchased this at a pet store today - it was advertised as a Tangerine Milk - I think not?

I did not see anything similar on the milksnake page... so I am trying here.

I paid $100 for this snake and it is about 18" long....did I get screwed or is that a reasonable price given that the snake was mislabled?

Any help or info would be appreciated.

From that pic it looks like a very nice Nuevo Leon kingsnake (L. thayeri). Way more calm than milks. Excellent buy actually, even if it isn't what you expected.
