I'm looking around for a new mali uromastyx. I currently have one, and decided I wanted another. I've been looking at Nigerians for a while, but then decided, why not have two malis and possibly breed? Most breeders I'm finding are selling plain uromastyxes. For a change, I decided I'm going to aim towards a drop dead gorgeous one, and I've seen very few breeders that have any. In the end, I have come to trust maybe one breeder, but want a bigger variety of uros to look at before deciding what I want. So really, I just want to know where everywhere here got their uros. Who are people I can trust, and what breeders are well known that I shouldn't trust at all? I won't get a uro from anyone until I look into them and make sure they're trustworthy.

I am in the process of getting a new Egyptian Uro from Lindsay Pike of Urotopia.com. He came HIGHLY recommended, and has been active on this forum for a long time, as have some others. I will let people who have had business experiences with them share, but so far I would recommend Lindsay. I will keep you posted after I receive my new Uro!

Lindsay Pike, as already mentioned, has an excellent reputation. I got my male Saharan from Doug Dix (Deer Fern Farms) and I have nothing but good things to say about him. He helped me get Joe settled in for a few weeks after purchase.

I recently purchased a pair of Mali's from Doug at Deer Fern Farms and am 100% satisfied w/ them. I received a beautiful full grown adult male and an attractive older adolescent female (male is huge compared to her, but Doug assured me that if she wasn't sexually mature now, she would be by next spring - assuming we all don't get blown away by a hurricane). I can highly recommend Doug for his Malis.

I realized I didn't mention it.. the only breeder I found to trust was Doug Dix. Though, now I'll look into Lindsay Pike. Thanks.

i have only dealt with lindsay and hes very good and he has beautiful animals, heres a picture of an egyptian occelated captive bred by him i bout almost 2 years ago

Well my brother and I got ours from PetsMart. I got my saharan uro's from Douglas Dix from Deer Fern Farms. He says that mali's ship easier (less stressfully) then others he's got. If you want the email I got from him just email me and I'll send you a copy of it.

I already e-mailed Douglas. Thank you though. =) I don't care for PetSmart though, they disgust me, and they're horribly expensive.
