i just wanted to tell everybody that i will be getting some new uros on friday. i will be getting a female sikkore and a male female pair of u. phantasticus. are these guys almost the same as ebauni? i just wanted to let everybody know and ask how many phantasticus keepers there are and wjhat their opinions are on them. thanks

I keep 1:1 U. Phantasticus. Their care is pretty much identical to U. Ebenaui. While they are a truly beautiful species and a joy to keep I will say this however, they are a very fragile species and out of all the Uroplatus are about the hardest to keep and even harder to breed. I can mail you an excellent care sheet by Robery Gundy if you want.

I have U. sikorae and ebenaui and I keep them in terrariums with newspaper and sphagum moss for bedding and several broadleaf plants for them to climb on. They are pretty happy as long as you keep them clean adn give the plants to climb on. Mine like to crawl on me when I got to clean their cage. I also like to mist them 2-3 times a day lightly, since it gets hot in my reptile room.
