I have been breeding two leopard geckos of mine for quite some time and then selling them to local kids from my school or pet stores. Well recently, I had run out of calcium and because it was out of my routine I forgot to get more. Well two hatchlings that I have been raising really felt the force of that, but are getting better. The two of them (which were bred at female temperatures and hatched a day apart from one another) both began to walk differently and I noticed that their legs were not supporting their bodies. I quickly remembered the calcium and got some immediately and luckily it was treatable because now they are getting better. I just want to remind everyone to make sure to always have a dish of calcium and to dust the crickets at least once a week. If the gecko is walking differently or more sluggish as if they cannot pull themselves, dust more frequently! Good luck to all those new gecko owners out there!
