Do Pastels/ SuperPastels loose their colors as they mature?

JDalbo Sep 10, 2004 08:09 PM

These snakes look great as hatchlings but I dont think I've seen any adults. Do these morphs retain their colors as they mature?

The good ones keep their colours.

Here's an adult female of mines that looks great still. Like Jeff said... the good ones don't fade. I think every morph out there improves over time with selective breeding. A perfect example would be the albino. The first albinos were yellow and with time you got the nice hi-contrast orange animals. Most albinos you see now are hi-contrast... a perfect example of selective breeding improving the looks of a morph. I also think the Mojave has come a long way since the first ones. Just my thoughts...
