Were the eggs buried in soil or laid in the water? Because chances are, if they were laid in the water, they are not viable anymore. I'm only saying this because I have a lot of people ask me why their turtle eggs laid in the water turn yellow after a few days and die.

Thanks, but I'm going to give this a shot. Musk turtles have a fairly high rate of success hatching even when they are laid in water and found many ours later. Other turtles this can be quite a problem with. However, I'll keep everyone posted. hopefully we'll have some luck and 2-3 monthes from now hatchlings.
congrats on the eggs. i hope they make it for ya!
