was wondering if any of your tegus has ever undergone a sudden color change. Taz is 5yrs old. i have had him for 4˝yrs he is around 4'4" and 18lbs, my other male tegu (both from Bert) is from the same parents as Taz, so they are brothers. this one is 1yr old and about 3˝' in length. Taz is what i would call just your plain looking tegu, nothing too special about his looks. never had any special colors. his head doesnt have much white. but in the last month his entire underside has turned orange, aside from the black markings. my younger male has a KILLER pattern, not the normal dots. he has bands on his neck and higher back. his head had a good bit of white on it except for his black nose. now his head is COMPLETELY black. no white on it at all. just thought this was weird that all the sudden it would change. they have the same diet, same setup. nothing new.
this all happened within a month.

ps- i still have my female tegu, but she was getting too aggressive towards the males. she is 3'8" and about 8lbs.
