Hopefully I'll be breeding my retics this fall or next spring. I have an 02' tiger female and an 02' normal female that should hopefully be ready soon. I will be breeding these girls to either a tiger male or a Jampea male.
So... I guess I'm not a retic breeder yet. I am located in Chicago and I've always wondered how many other people in this area breed retics. Hopefully we'll get some answers. Maybe I own the most retics in the area?? I currently have 5 and I will be adding 2 more in Tinley next month.
Anyway, sorry about the long post. I guess you can tell, I love retics.
Living in a high rise in the West Loop no doubt. I currently have a beautiful 0.1 super tiger and will be adding a 0.1 tiger het. albino and 1.0 albino male at Tinley. I sold another one of my retics to a poster on redtailboa.net, who also lives in Illinois, so there are obviously a few retic owners in Illinois, probably a lot more than post here. Anyway, there is a solid pet store, Chicago Reptile House, in Orland Park that currently has juvi normals, tigers, and supers. It's a great place. They also post in the kingsnake classifieds. Anyway, if you're looking to get a retic, the best place to do so would be at the Tinley Show, which is amazing, in Orland Park on October 9th and 10th.
I also live in chicago..i own retics..I am lookin to pick up another female..either a local or a normal..I dont think ima be able to make it to the show in orland and the convention center..but i was there the last to years and its always a pleasure to see breeder from out of states and the wonder ful EXSPENCIVE animals

...but I'm not a breeder...yet
I'm in Flora, Illinois, about 100 miles dead east of St. Louis and damn near 300 miles south of Chi-town. Right now I have a couple super tigers, and a few normal gals.
