What do they eat?
In the wild, they eat baby lizards, crickets, grasshoppers, other small snakes, baby mice/voles and just about anything else they can hunt down and overpower. When large enough they will eat cicadas when they emerge.
However, in captivity, they should do fine on live or F/T day old pinks. If feeding F/T you may have to use a small set of tongs/forceps to wiggle the prey item, as racers are primarily sight hunters. If you feed live pinks, just place them in a container with the snake, and leave them in a quiet place, as racers are a high strung snake.
