I have a colony of mealworms in a oatmeal substrate that has baby mealies in it but the substrate started to mold.I sifted out the babies and did'nt know if it was still safe to feed them to my geckos? I threw out the beetle colony because they were still feeding on the oatmeal and I don't think the baby mealies were feeding on it so that is why I figured they were safe.I now use chick mash/cornmeal so I don't have as many concerns reguarding mold.Thanks for feedback in advance.
