bts & UVB

sarahruss Sep 11, 2004 10:44 AM

Hi, I'm hoping to purchase a bts soon. I have a wooden enclosure thats about the equivalent of a 75 gallon tank. My question is what's the proper UVB and UVA wattage for a tank this size? Also, is the broad spectrum basking bulb the same as full spectrum lighting? I want to do everything right.
Thanks,
Sarah

Blueys should be able to see out of their cages.

Thanks for the advice, I also have a 55 gallon tank I was considering using, now I'll use that instead. But I still have a few questions about UV lighting. What do they need, UVB, UVA, or UV lighting. And I read regular exposure to natural sunlight would work to. And if so for how long daily? Thanks again for the advice.
