hi, i have just recently aquired a baby stinkpot and i know this isnt the forums for it but i didnt get any answer there other than it needs a bigger tank. so i have a question, he doesnt really use his back legs though, like he swims but only uses his front legs, and spends alot of time on the turtle dock, can anyone help me out? is this normal or what?

thanks

The stinkpot doesnt really swim much, they prefer to be able to walk up the shore to bask. They usually just walk everywhere. I would provide a large tank with a large piece of driftwood that contacts the bottom, so he can walk up the wood to the surface.
