If the snake doesnt have a heat source will it not eat?

svtsinister Sep 11, 2004 12:04 PM

Well during the hurricane i unpluged everything from the sockets so the generator could run.I also unpluged my UTH and forgot to plug it back in. Anyway i tried to feed me snake and he just refused it twice. then i finally got him to eat. Did he refuse it cause his body temp was cold????

Could be, if the temps were cool enough in the house if you have an air conditioner running that would probably suppress his appetite. As long as you have the UTH plugged back in and he can get to the warm side to aid in his digestion he should be fine.
