We started with Hog island boas in 1981, these images only go back to about '98.. Most people who see my animals say they are very nice and many have purchased them yet few claim to have my bloodline! I have produced over 400 Hogs, beginning in the late 1980s.. That's the way I like it, I want to make good to best standard-type animals, not GUS-LINE hogs or whatever. These are very neat boas....

Have fun..

Snakes Train You To Suit its Needs!

Friend, I thank you for you comments and support and from what I've seen here we probably agree on a lot of these subjects.. but this is just a photo-op here, let's not turn everything into a debate or a potential argument.

If my post suggested to you I was starting something it is purely accidental and I apologise for the (unintentional) barb..

Let's just have fun and see nice boas..

Have a great evening..

Gus..

My post wasnt about anything I personally didnt believe was fact.
Nor was it directed at anyone specificly for the purpose of an argument,we havent done buisness yet* nor do I know you on a personal level.I do know alot about you(I`ve done my research thoroughly)call it luck or whatever but my contacts all basically confirmed/prove what was noted in my previous post.If Integrity spooks the thin-skinned peddlers/breeders north of the Red River so be it,their the ones needing to upgrade their standards. We do things abit different here in Texas and Political Correctness isnt the basis for Our Belief System.
They had to Take the Alamo right ?

Integrity Bottomline !

boaluvr123 Sep 12, 2004 12:43 PM

no , the female is actually the only one in my possesion at the moment , the male is coming next week , i dont know exactly what he looks like , but i have the photo from the breeder that i already posted. my female is over 3 and a half feet long , probably pushing four , while the lil male is probably gonna be just under two feet in length. im only gonna place them togethr during breeding , but i have kept animals togethr in the past , and havent had an problems , just as long as they are both away from each other at feeding time , they both grow at the same speed n get along well , but i havent done that w hogg islands before

Just curious. Many publications have referred to them “hogg.” Obviously someone who translated the name (cochinos) did not know English very well and added a second "g", but since it is a translation of a common name and not a scientific name does it really matter? One could call them “pig” island boas and technically speaking be correct as well.
