the Value of Ivory sulcattas....$$$

DaMaan Sep 11, 2004 02:54 PM

I am considering purchasing a year old Ivory sulcatta from Riparian farms and was wondering what other Tortoise lovers thought about this investment,(they go up in value every year as they grow) and was also wondering if an Albino sulcatta mated w/ a normal one what is the ratio of babies that might hatch out as Albinos? Would there be more Albino babie's hatched out if 2 ivory tort's mated? Thanks

i think that this is not A VERY SMART INVESTMENT and there are more secure ways of mantaining a investment

and was also wondering if an Albino sulcatta mated w/ a normal one what is the ratio of babies that might hatch out as Albinos?

rember biolagy class 0 would hatch out because there would be the dominate gene so they would all apper normal and u would only have a bunch of semi worthless 100% hets

Would there be more Albino babie's hatched out if 2 ivory tort's mated?

they would all be albinos because there would only be recessive genes
