The last live mouse I fed to a baby ball I was trying to switch over was a very interesting feeding. The mouse wnt on top of a little cocnut hide and the ball threw a coild around it with the thickest part of its body and knocked it off and wrapped around it with the middle of its body. It then held onto the mouse's tail with its mouse and constricted for the rest of the kill with his mid section. I have seen anacondas grab and coil with their thick coils in the middle but no snake have i ever seen coil without striking first and I have never seen a python of any kind coil with the middle of its body like anacondas tend to do. We all know pythons do the 1-3 coils behind the head but has anyone seen anything like I have just described with a ball? I know I have not seen everything so i am not claiming this to be rare its just that i have not seen it before and i wonder who has. thank you. and sorry for all the long posts and bad typing (my hand is still kind of apart if you saw my post below : )
