I have a young beardie. I have had him for two months, housed originally with another about the same same size ( 9 inches )
The first one grew and grew, eating crickets, cubes, superworms.
While the second one, the wimpy eater has hardly grown at all.
My other beardies go nuts with crickets, chasing eating...etc.
This wimpy one could care less.
His FORMER cagemate ( I've separated them ) is about 6 inches larger now. And still eats like a horse.
The wimpy one will chase a cricket or two, will eat a mealworm or two, on occasion eat a superworm. Bur for the most part, he hardly eats at all.
It's otherwise ok, just small, and not a voracious feeder.
Any ideas to help with this? Is something wrong with the animal?
I plan on getting another one most likely tomorrow, and am about to give this wimpy eater away to someone that can give it more time.
But before I do, I want to do all that is possible.
What should I be doing, what are some other things I might, or should be looking at?
