kingsnake searching

I've heard of a lot of people who just go out of their homes and find kingsnakes or drive somewhere close and find kingsnakes. I live in northern Oregon, so are there any here? I think it would be too cold to live in the wild, but what do you think?

They are not found that far north....I believe central calif. is the farthest north they range. Find out when a reptile show is in your area and pick out a nice captive bred baby. Also most breeders will ship you a snake. Supporting captive breeding is much better for protecting native species survival in the wild.
