DCL paper what kind is it and...

is there some other place to get it on line. I saw somewhere that had the paper on rolls for like 40 bucks.

You get it from ... ready... DCL. Look at the suppliers section on kingsnake.com. Out of Maryland. It is brown textured paper similar to the skin on cardboard but thinner. Good for heavy-bodied snakes. Not necessary for colubrids and more agile snakes (just use newspaper for them if you want to use paper.)
