Another picture, sorry it is'nt a more clear picture, but its really nice and clear in person. All lights on one switch, and heaters on one timer. I ordered oak book cases from Woodworks furniture extra deep 14 ins. to except reg. size aquariums for about $20 or $25 bucks more apiece. I took one of the extra shelfs and made a hidden compartment above one of the tanks to accept some 6way outlets and timers, the door just sticks on with magnetic latches. The units work well for me I really enjoy the entertainment.

That is awesome i like that. Have you ever thought of getting drawer slides and putting some wood on them, so you dont have to lift the tank out to clean you can just pull them out and push them back in. they make ones that hold up to 150 pouinds and that should be more than enough to hold your tanks. just a thought. i am actually thinking about doing that with mine.

Thanks, I left enough room on top for maintance cleaning and ventilation. I pull the tanks out once a year to hose them down with bleach and water . I spot, clean about three days after each feeding, so the tanks won’t start smelling. I can pull out all the drift wood, were the tanks sit for cleaning purposes. Roll out shelfs might be nice, but the wiring might put a damper on things. But it could be done. I enjoy my tank units very much. But the less work, the better.

Thanks for the comments and have a great day!
