Copperhead

Caught this one last Sunday. He is over 40". Give opinions as to whether he is Northern, Southern or possible intergrade. Thanks

Looks like a Northern. Thier bands are usually a little thicker and connected at the top. Southerns have thinner band and are sometimes broken up at the top.

Either way, its a nice looking snake. What state did you catch it in?
