Veiled Chameleon pair?

CollardGuy Sep 12, 2004 09:59 AM

I have a female veiled chameleon, 3" SVL. I am wondering if it is possible to keep an adult female with an adult male? I've read that Jacksons chams can be kept in breeding pairs, can Veileds be kept in pairs too?

If you are experienced in the world of chameleons, and have enough space, and a wel mannered pair, yes.

If all of the above don't apply, then please don't try it. It makes more sense to have two 2x2x4ft enclosures (visually separated) than it does to have a 6x2x4ft enclosure with unhappy animals.

good luck with the pair!

Thanks. Acually I don't have a pair yet, just the female, and she's not an adult yet. But I was just wondering because I am hoping to breed her someday.
