Hatchling ball with a different look

John Q Sep 12, 2004 10:43 AM

I ended up male heavy with my first clutch, it happens. At least the males look nice. A couple that are what I believe is reduced pattern and then this one that I think may be a ringer. I never really thought much of ringers, not much in terms of eye candy. This may be one or just a different pattern, either way it is kind of neat. Any help with identifying this would be helpful.
Thanks for looking.

This first pic shows the belly striping and how just above the vent area the stripes run way up the sides. Both sides are identical.

This is the right side. The belly stripe runs up pretty high. The belly scales in this area show orange. The area between the belly stripe and dorsal stripe has some white in it.

The left side also has the belly stripe running up high, almost to the dorsal stripe. There is some white in this area and the belly scales have a little orange.

Here's a top view and you can see that the dorsal stripe is kind of pinched in this area. It's almost as if the belly stripes were going to run up over the dorsal area and join.
