Hi all,

I have a yearling snow bull who became ill about a six weeks ago. She hasn't in a month now and is losing weight. Besides not eating her only external symptom is a "kink" in her back a couple inches in front of her vent.

She's been to the vet twice now, he took x-rays of the kink and didn't see anything wrong with her spine. He's taken blood twice, didn't really come up with anything the first time and I haven't heard back about the results from the second. He said she has an infection (one white blood cell for every red), but is having trouble locating the antibiotic he wants to prescribe. In the meantime he gave me an anti-inflamatory to give her. She does seem to be a little more active than she was, but she still shows no interest in feeding.

I'm not sure if any can help since there isn't a lot of solid info, but I wanted to throw it out in case anyone has any ideas.

Thanks in advance,
Chad
