I am trying so hard to have my RES grow right and keep their shells in the best shape. They are both a little under 2 inches big and I keep them in a 50 gal tank with uva and uvb lighting. I noticed that one of my turtles has a little split V in her shell by her tail. What does this mean? Plus her shell seems like it's curving up at the edges. I don't overfeed her because she only gets 4-5 baby reptomin pellets every other day and fresh greens everyday. I could just be obsessing over this. I mean I hold her right under my nose and examine her shell. And of course I don't know if she's a she yet.
